How to create your own Trading Cards
What you need:
Cardstock/Chipboard
Paper
Scissors/paper cutter
Paint
Glue
Embellishments
Instructions:
1. Cut a sheet of cardstock or chipboard into rectangles that measure 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches.
2. Cover the front and back of each cardstock or chipboard rectangle with decorative paper or paint your own background design instead.
3. Use glue to attach a photograph or focal point on the front of each card. This can be a picture of you, nature or perhaps a replica photo of completed artwork. Consider using a small, lightweight item such as a bottle cap, seashell or a coin as the focal point instead of a photograph.
4. Embellish the trading cards with light objects such as stamps, brads, eyelets, paper clips or even paper clay decorations.
5. Add words to the front or back of the trading cards. This could be a phrase, poem, title or even information about the artist.
